Lifting rigger — Marquette County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Marquette County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
