We are recruiting: single needle operator (Hawaii)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Kalawao County, Hawaii. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
