Refrigeration technician • Mathews County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Mathews County, Virginia. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. On the job you will handle: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets What we are looking for: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
