We are recruiting: motor grader operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a motor grader operator in New Kent County, Virginia. You will work on an earthmoving and excavation site. Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day to day you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
