Commis chef — Beaver County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commis chef in Beaver County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards The role involves: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
