Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Rotating shifts.
