Road roller operator — Indian River County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Indian River County, Florida. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
