Overlocker operator wanted in Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Washington County, Kansas. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
