D6/D8 dozer operator — Sharkey County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Sharkey County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. The role involves form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Six days a week, one day off. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
