Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Kankakee County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard. You should have: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
