Elevator technician • Hyde County, South Dakota

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Hyde County, South Dakota. Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
