Die-casting operator • Powell County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Powell County, Kentucky. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time with occasional weekends.
