Insulation worker — Monroe County

Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation worker in Monroe County, Illinois. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Willing to travel between sites • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel The role involves carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
