Production line inspector — Polk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production line inspector in Polk County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Day-to-day duties: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting 6+ years on the tools preferred.
