Laundry presser — Riley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Riley County, Kansas. You will work in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
