Bench joiner — Nantucket County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bench joiner in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
