Security officer — Duval County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a security officer in Duval County, Florida. You will be based in a CCTV control room. On a typical shift you will respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police. What we are looking for: • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • 1-2 years experience as a security guard 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
