Immediate opening: school shuttle driver (Maine)

Now hiring: we are hiring a school shuttle driver in Knox County, Maine. You will be based at a school transport service. Your main tasks: • Drive defensively through heavy traffic and bad weather • Follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable • Make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off • Keep the cabin and seats clean and tidy between runs • Maintain an accurate headcount against the passenger manifest • Reroute around roadworks and diversions while keeping to time Requirements: • Able to speak the local language with passengers • Basic vehicle maintenance know-how • Clean driving record with no major endorsements At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
