Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Uvalde County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
