UPVC welding machine operator — Cumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Cumberland County, Tennessee. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Meals and transport allowance provided.
