Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Durham County, North Carolina. You will be based at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms You will install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner.
