Now hiring: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Nangere, Yobe State. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. On the job you will handle: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
