Fabrication workshop technician — McLean County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in McLean County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
