Foundry worker — Dewey County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Dewey County, Oklahoma. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Your main tasks: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
