Foundry worker • Monroe County, Pennsylvania

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
