Fusing press operator — Ouray County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Ouray County, Colorado. You will work at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
