Fettler — Bracknell Forest

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Bracknell Forest, England. You will be based on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
