Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Clay County, Alabama. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
