Metal caster — Wheatland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Wheatland County, Montana. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
