Vertical milling machine operator — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Scott County, Iowa. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Six days a week, one day off.
