Urgent requirement: EHS coordinator (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Linn County, Iowa. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
