Dogger — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Monroe County, Alabama. Day to day you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
