CO2 welder wanted in Scioto County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Scioto County, Ohio. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Full-time with occasional weekends.
