Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Knox County, Tennessee. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator.
