Press setter operator — Iberia Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
