Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling On the job you will handle: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
