UPVC door and window fabricator — Piatt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Piatt County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) The role involves glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash.
