Waitress — Santa Clara County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a waitress in Santa Clara County, California. You will be based at a busy restaurant. Ideal candidate: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts On the job you will handle: • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
