Panel technician • Marion County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel technician in Marion County, Kentucky. You will be based at an accident repair garage. Day to day you will shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray. Ideal candidate: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Full-time, day shift.
