Now hiring: tower crane operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Tom Green County, Texas. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On a typical shift you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
