Tower crane operator — Rabah

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Rabah, Sokoto State. On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 6+ years on the tools preferred.
