Join our team: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Phelps County, Nebraska. The job is on a road construction project. The role involves spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
