Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. You will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; record output and downtime on the production sheet; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred 6+ years on the tools preferred.
