Immediate opening: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Prince Edward County, Virginia. The job is on commercial fit-out projects. The role involves strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns. Requirements: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Own brushes and basic hand tools 2+ years on the tools preferred.
