Urgent requirement: bricklayer (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Clinton County, New York. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
