Join our team: die-casting operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ochiltree County, Texas. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Full-time, day shift.
