Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb.
