We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Solihull, England. You will be based in a residential tower block. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; run load and overload tests with test weights; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. £80 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
