Semi-automatic welder — Eket

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a busy production line. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
