Ideal candidate: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds On a typical shift you will crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings; run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
